Kingston kicks off food waste challenge for flats

Kingston Council has launched a new initiative to encourage residents living in purpose-built flats to reduce their food waste and be in with a chance to win prizes. The food waste challenge will see participants pledge to reduce food waste by storing food correctly, understanding date labels, practicing portion control, planning meals and making use of leftovers.
