SZEGED, HUNGARY (May 20, 2018) - Canadian Women`s Canoe athlete, Laurence Vincent-Lapointe (Trois-Rivières, QC), won a second gold medal on Sunday and set a new official world best time in the C1 200 meter-event at the ICF Sprint World Cup in Szeged, Hungary. Vincent-Lapointe finished the race with a new record of 44.502 seconds. Her C2 partner Katie Vincent (Mississauga, ON) wasn`t too far behind as she placed third in a time of 45.737 seconds.
