Police identify third man in beating of man with autism at Mississauga Square One bus terminal

Peel police have identified the third suspect accused in the assault of a man with autism in Mississauga in March.A Canada-wide warrant for aggravated assault has been issued for 21-year-old Jaspaul Uppal of no fixed address. Police were called at around 10:45 p.m. on March 13 to the Square One bus terminal. Three men had surrounded the 29-year-old victim who was sitting on the stairs. They punched and kicked him multiple times before fleeing, police said. The entire assault lasted about six seconds and was caught on surveillance footage released by police.The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.After a huge public outcry, Parmvir Singh Chahil, 21, and Ronjot Singh Dhami, 25, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault, a few days after the surveillance footage was released.Police said all three suspects were visiting the GTA from the Vancouver area.
