Cole faces Angels in SoCal homecoming --- Gerrit Cole -- who was born in Newport Beach, Calif., raised in Orange County and attended UCLA -- will make only his second career start at Angel Stadium tonight at 9:07 p.m. CT. Cole`s only other appearance in Anaheim came on June 21, 2013, in his third big league start. The Angels will counter with rookie Jaime Barria.
