McCarthy`s struggles continue in loss to Marlins

Brandon McCarthy has earned the chance to overcome what might be just one of those short, frustrating stretches most starting pitchers inevitably encounter at some point. But if there`s eventually a need to alter the rotation, the Braves have the quality depth necessary to make improvements. McCarthy was unable to keep his pitches out of the danger zone in another frustration-filled start in Friday night`s 6-3 loss to the Marlins.
