Velasquez K`s 12 as Phils cap sweep of Giants

Right-hander Vince Velasquez flipped a switch in the second inning and helped the Phillies come back to sweep the Giants in a 6-3 victory Thursday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park. Velasquez allowed three runs and two home runs to the first seven batters he faced, but struck out 11 of the final 17 batters he faced. Carlos Santana stayed hot with a three-run home run.
