Christian Yelich homered and Wade Miley allowed one run on three hits in six solid innings in his season debut, lifting the Brewers to a 3-1 victory over the Reds and a three-game sweep at Great American Ball Park. Miley, who started the season on the disabled list due to a groin injury he sustained in Spring Training, retired the last eight batters he faced and fanned four over 97 pitches. Reds starter Luis Castillo took the loss despite holding Milwaukee to two runs in six-plus innings, with seven strikeouts.
