A shuffling of the batting offer sparked the Nationals` offense to a 12-2 victory against the Pirates on Tuesday night. Harper broke out of his slump with a three-run homer in the fifth, Matt Adams notched his first multi-homer game with Washington and Wilmer Difo collected a solo homer to back a strong performance from Max Scherzer. Corey Dickerson supplied the only offense for the Bucs, as Pittsburgh starter Chad Kuhl allowed four home runs over 4 2/3 innings to take the loss.
