Wieters, Taylor go deep as Gio cools D-backs

After counterpart Robbie Ray departed early with an injury, Gio Gonzalez offered his best performance of the season. Gonzalez struck out a season-high eight over seven innings of one-run ball, Matt Wieters and Michael A. Taylor homered off long reliever T.J. McFarland, and the Nationals held on for a 3-1 victory over the NL-best D-backs.
