UN Security Team Came Under Fire While Visiting Suspected Chemical Sites in Syria

A United Nations security team came under fire on Wednesday while doing reconnaissance work for inspectors that were visiting sites of a suspected chemical weapons attack in Douma, Syria, according to Reuters. Officials said that it was unclear when the inspectors from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons would be allowed in to investigate the April 7 incident which Western countries and rescue workers say killed dozens of civilians with a chemical attack carried out by Syrian government forces.
