Out of options, Montero attacks zone in debut

There was no nibbling Sunday, no uncertainty. Rafael Montero attacked, throwing 18 of his 23 pitches in the zone. He threw first-pitch strikes to five of the six hitters he faced in the Mets` 10-3 Grapefruit League win over the Marlins, striking out the side in the ninth inning and four men in total. His fastball rested at 93 mph.
