Giancarlo Stanton’s first Yankees at-bat ended anti-climactically. The slugger worked a full-count walk against Tigers lefty Ryan Carpenter. Stanton was hitting second in the Yankees’ spring training opener, between Jacoby Ellsbury and Greg Bird.
