On Monday, the King Pine base lodge was still undergoing its transformation from summer conferences, themed weekends, family vacations and weddings mode to its winter face for bustling families armed with ski and snowboard arsenals. The cubbies and lockers were out of storage and back by guest services. Magazines and brochures were stacked about waiting to be placed away. Leftover coffee cake from the previous day´s staff training day was there for the taking.
