A senior Waikato doctor allegedly billed taxpayers for baby food and meals for her family after taking them to Australia to attend a health conference. The doctor`s behaviour reflects a `culture of entitlement` says a former Waikato Hospital staffer who alleges spending by senior medical staff and managers is rarely queried. The worker, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said clerical staff are discouraged from questioning senior DHB staff over their expense receipts.
