MU VC invites striking employees for fresh talks

GAYA: Taking the initiative to break the ice on the vexed issue of service regularisation of daily wage and contractual employees appointed allegedly in an illegal manner, Magadh University (MU) VC Prof Qamar Ahsan has invited the striking employees to hold talks with a five-member committee headed by pro-VC Prof K N Paswan. The Federation of Non-Teaching Employees` Unions has been invited for talks on December 14. The employees have been on strike since November 17 this year.
