College girl on a solo bike trip across India for paraplegic soldiers

BHUBANESWAR: Mitsu Chavda, a 23 year-old college student from Surat Gujarat, reached Bhubaneswar on Monday as part of her nation-wide solo bike trip `Ride for Soldiers`. She started her journey on November 26, 2017 to create awareness for paraplegic soldiers. `These soldiers became disabled while serving for the mother land. But despite losing their everything these solders hardly get the recognition they deserve and acknowledgement for their sacrifice. So I thought of creating awareness among the masses about them,` said Mitsu, who has covered around 5000 kms in six states including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
