National has hit out at a plan to do up Opotiki Harbour, despite a National MP asking the Government to keep the project alive fewer than two months ago. National regional development spokesman Simon Bridges put out a press release on Monday night questioning whether the Opotiki Harbour Development would be a prudent use of taxpayer funds.
