Mackenzie mayor positive about road safety upgrades in district

The Mackenzie District mayor is feeling `positive` about road safety changes in the region ahead of NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) staff visit before Christmas. Mackenzie Mayor Graham Smith said he spoken with NZTA Senior Traffic Safety Engineer David Scarlet on Friday to discuss his concerns about road safety in the district. The discussion was arranged after Smith said he was frustrated and disappointed with the lack of safety changes made in the district.
