FIR filed against Fortis Gurgaon paediatrician

CHANDIGARHAMBALA: The Haryana police on Sunday filed a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against the paediatrician, under whose supervision Adya, seven-year-old girl who died of dengue, was treated at the Fortis Hospital in Gurgaon. The case has been registered against Dr Vikas Verma, senior consultant, department of paediatrics, Fortis Hospital and Medical Research Institute, Gurgaon, at the city`s Sushant Lok police station. The case was registered on Sunday under Section 304 (II) of the Indian Penal Code.
