Govt notice to 40 GDA officials over demolition of park for private school

Ghaziabad: The state government has issued show-cause notices to 40 officials of GDA on the directive of the Allahabad high court after the officials were accused of allowing a school to come up on plot of land in Model Town where a park was situated. Among those who have been issued notices are five provincial armed constabulary (PAC) officials who were in GDA between 2002-2016. The court has asked the state government to file a compliance report on the next date of hearing on December 19.
