Segregated waste must for bio mining: Experts

Nagpur: Though the civic agencies have shortlisted an alternate solid waste dumping site at Butibori, the garbage problem in the city will not be solved till the `over 10 lakh metric tonnes of waste` lying at the Bhandewadi dumping ground is taken care of. Raising doubts over favourable outcomes from the present technique being used to tackle waste, experts said that ensuring firefighting techniques and waste segregation at the new site is a must to avoid mistakes of the past.
