Surat: When the candidates for the remaining six assembly seats in the Diamond City were announced by BJP on Monday, there was resentment in some sections. Many senior party leaders remained silent but a few like Bhimji Patel, a former standing committee chairman, spoke out against the party. Patel had sought ticket from Karanj assembly constituency.
