Contractor change at Marathon Petroleum´s Texas City refinery affects up to 103 jobs

Aptim Maintenance LLC told the Texas Workforce Commission last week that its contract to perform maintenance services at a Texas City refinery has been terminated. Ohio-based Marathon Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: MPC) is terminating Aptim´s contract for the Texas City refinery effective Dec. 3, according to the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act letter Aptim sent the TWC.
