A new report in The Lancet says that pollution can be linked to nine million deaths around the world during 2015, according to BBC News. Almost all of those deaths happened in low- and middle-income countries, where pollution made up a quarter of deaths. Air pollution had some of the largest impacts, comprising two-thirds of the deaths from pollution, with Bangladesh and Somalia being some of the worst countries affected. Brunei and Sweden had the lowest numbers of pollution-related deaths.
