Scientist, curator and philosopher Sue Spaid coined the term `Ecovention` in 1999 and went on to illustrate its meaning and reach three years later with an exhibition titled Ecovention: Current Art to Transform Ecologies at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati.
