SAN JOSE, Calif. - In its previous three loses this season, San Jose State`s football team turned the ball over 10 times, which resulted in 55 points by the opposition. Unfortunately for the Spartans, that trend continued on a picture-perfect Saturday at CEFCU Stadium. Utah State had three takeaways in the first half and all three of them resulted in touchdowns. USU also turned a blocked punt into a second-quarter field goal en route to a 38-0 halftime lead and 61-10 drubbing of the Spartans in the Mountain West opener for both programs.
