Killing of widow, son protested

SWABI: The angry people on Saturday blocked the road to demand arrest of the killers of a widow and her son. The protesters placed the bodies on Swabi-Mardan road at Shagai bus stop and blocked the road for traffic for almost an hour. Later, the local officials assured the demonstrators that the killers would be traced. The victims were identified as Zeeshan Khan and his mother Saleema Begum, a widow. The people placed the bodies of the woman and his son on the road and blocked it for traffic. The police said the murders had taken place in the Shagai village in the limits of the City Police Station. They said they registered an FIR and investigation was underway. ......
