1-2 in Leipzig: No reward for Eintracht´s late rally

Eintracht put in yet another devoted display at RB Leipzig, but were punished for the few decisive errors they made and got into the game too late, eventually losing 1-2 (0-1). Although Ante Rebic was on target with Eintracht`s first goal of the season from open play in the 77th minute, SGE`s late rally was to be left unrewarded. The Eagles were reduced to intensive defensive work in protecting their own goal in the first-half, but could do nothing to prevent Augustin opening the scoring for the hosts in the 28th minute.
