Sunday Notebook: Big change for former Subway at Hemming Park

For the past 10 years, Subway has operated out of a storefront on Monroe Street, facing Hemming Park. But it closed last week and the plans for it are a big change. The space is part of the building housing the Dalton Agency and owned by the agency´s principals, Jim Dalton, Dave Josserand and Michael Munz. When Subway decided to leave, Dalton said they considered their options. `We thought about getting another tenant, and there was a lot of interest,` he said. `But it´s hard downtown without night and weekend traffic.
