JAIPUR: A delay in the release of scholarship funds led to a third-year student of Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) to seek permission for euthanasia from a minister during a public hearing at BJP state headquarters on Tuesday .The student, Mahendra Dhandu, had applied for scholarship meant for Scheduled Caste (SC) students in 2014, but the state government has not released his scholarship fund.
