Empty first class train seats to be auctioned among passengers

Passengers fed up with being confined to standard class on their daily commute, will now get the chance to secure upgrades to first class with a new system being rolled out across Virgin East Coast. The train operator has announced a deal with Seatfrog app that is aiming to give more customers the chance to travel first class by auctioning off empty seats.
