Large landslip causes damage in Waitomo district

A large landslip has flooded a river and blocked a road in the Waitomo district. The slip on private farm land - estimated at involving between 10 and 20 hectares - happened on Tuesday afternoon. Masses of dirt and rock has fallen into the Mangaokewa River.
