REDONDO BEACH >> The Redondo and Mater Dei girls volleyball teams were on course this past weekend to face each other during the Durango Fall Classic. That meeting never materialized, as the Monarchs lost in the semifinals and the Sea Hawks advanced to the finals. Tuesday night, the teams faced off in what could be a potential CIF-SS Division 1 final, and Mater Dei prevailed, 23-25, 25-17, 25-18, 21-25, 15-10. ......
