WHO Warns That The World Is Running Out Of Antibiotics

The World Health Organization was sounding the alarms on Tuesday since there are too few antibiotics to tackle the developing crisis of drug resistance which is developing some of the most untreatable infections around the world, according to The Guardian. Some of the diseases that are increasing and spreading are multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (TB), that requires treatments that last from nine to 20 months, and creates 250,000 deaths a year since only 52% of patients globally are successfully treated.
