Heated emotions dominated a meeting Monday night as representatives of Braum`s Ice Cream & Dairy met for the first time with a coalition of protesters opposing demolition of the Donnay Building on Classen Circle to make way for a new restaurant and market. Braum`s Ice Cream & Dairy Stores filed a rezoning application with the city of Oklahoma City on July 5 that propose tearing down the building and a neighboring home on the same block. The rezoning application only involves parts of the block on its southeast corner that are zoned residential and already owned by Braum`s.
