SOG to probe murder of Israni

Jaipur: The director general of Rajasthan police Ajeet Singh on Monday directed the special operations group (SOG) to probe the murder of businessman Vasudev Israni who was shot dead by unidentified assailants on late Sunday night. The SOG`s role was sought after primary investigation suggested the involvement of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The SOG team left for Jodhpur late Monday night to probe the case in the backdrop of increasing incidents of organized crimes in Jodhpur city.
