Gossett set to face Red Sox for first time

Lefty Drew Pomeranz will take on his former A`s team in Thursday`s series finale at Fenway Park, riding a 15-5 record and a 3.35 ERA into the matinee matchup for the American League East-leading Red Sox. Oakland will counter with rookie right-hander Daniel Gossett, who has never faced Boston in his young career.
