D-backs to open 2018 against familiar foe

The D-backs and Rockies, who are battling it out for Wild Card positioning this year, will open the 2018 regular season against each other on March 29 at Chase Field. Two days later the two teams will mark the 20th anniversary of the first game in D-backs franchise history with a March 31 game. The Rockies were the D-backs` first opponent when the franchise began play in 1998.
