Rules framed for marriage venues causing pollution

Nagpur: For the first time, regulations have been framed for marriage halls and lawns. Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and traffic police would regulate the venues to prevent from air, water and noise pollution. MPCB member secretary P Anbalagan wrote to municipal commissioner Ashwin Mudgal on August 18 informing about regulations framed for marriage halls and lawns.
