Harmless Wolves lose 0-3 (0-2) to Borussia Dortmund. It wasn`t to prove the start the Wolves had been hoping for. In the first game of the new season, on Saturday afternoon, VfL Wolfsburg suffered a 0-3 (0-2) defeat to Borussia Dortmund. Christian Pulisic (23`) and Marc Bartra (27`) put BVB on track in the first-half, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang adding a third after the break (60`). The Wolves proved far too harmless over long periods of the game and had little to offer by way of stemming the Dortmund offensive.
