Birders claim rare sighting of scrub robin in biodiversity park

GURUGRAM: Rufous-tailed scrub robin, a migratory bird that rarely comes to Delhi and NCR, was reportedly sighted in the Aravali Biodiversity Park over the last weekend, leading to heightened birders` activity in the protected area. While three-four birdwatchers claimed to have seen the bird, Amit Sharma, an avid birder from Uppal Southend in Sector 49, was lucky enough to click photos too. `I was lucky to spot the bird twice - at 8.10am on August 13 and 5.30pm on August 15 - in the park.
