JOHANNESBURG, Aug 17 -- The new red Springbok jersey has attracted criticism from South African rugby fans and activists as the national rugby team prepare for their opening match of the 2017 southern hemisphere Rugby Championship against Argentina in Salta in northwestern Argentina on Aug 26. The South African Ruby Union decided to use a red jersey, which they say resembles unity within the team and the country as a whole.
