Surat beats 10 domestic airports in traffic growth

SURAT: The Diamond City has added yet another feather in its cap by becoming the highest growing airport in the country .With around 200% growth in passenger traffic in the first quarter, Surat airport has beaten other domestic airports across the country . In a private survey carried out by `We Work for a Working Airport in Surat` (wwwAS), the city recorded the highest 300% growth in passenger traffic in June 2017 with around 50,625 passengers travelling to various destinations.
