Gallagher`s first homer makes grand impact

As rookie catcher Cam Gallagher stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and two outs in the sixth inning on Monday night, manager Ned Yost `was just hoping for a walk.` Instead, Gallagher lined a full-count fastball over the left-field wall for his first career home run, a grand slam that sent the Royals to a 6-2 win over the A`s at the Coliseum.
