Blue Jays place Valdez on DL, recall Campos

The Blue Jays suddenly have to fill not one but two holes in the starting rotation as injuries continue to take a toll on the 2017 season. Right-hander Cesar Valdez became the latest Toronto pitcher to hit the disabled list on Tuesday afternoon. Valdez initially was scheduled to start Wednesday night vs. New York, but he will no longer be able to make the appearance because of an impingement in his right shoulder.
