Report: Egyptian Army Tank Crushes Car Before Terror Attack Can Take Place

An Egyptian army tank crew in the northern Sinai Peninsula city of Arish took decisive action to avoid a massacre Monday when it was confronted by suicide bombers armed with machine guns at a crowded checkpoint, Newsweek reported Thursday. The tank moved quickly toward the vehicle, the report said, and rolled over it, crushing the car and immobilizing the suspected attackers. Shortly after the move, the car exploded.
