Soldiers and medical team arrive at landslide site for rescue operations

A team of soldiers from the Western Theater Command and 15 medical staff members from Chengdu Military General Hospital boarded two helicopters in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China`s Sichuan province, and left for the landslide site at 2 pm today. The landslide occurred at 6 am and buried 46 homes, leaving 141 people missing. The onsite rescue operation is under way.
