Joint Statement to grow agricultural trade with China

24 March 2017 Australia and China today signed the Joint Statement on Enhancing Inspection and Quarantine Cooperation between Australia and the People`s Republic of China. It will significantly improve two-way agricultural trade between Australia and China, particularly for Australia`s meat exports, and promotes food security and safety. Agreement estimated to be worth $400 million per year for Australia`s meat industry; a boost for regional jobs.
