The lens weighs 1160g/41oz, is 182mm/7.2in long, and the lens` front element has a 67mm diameter filter thread. For zooming, the lens utilizes a standard twist mechanism, or the front of the lens can be pushed or pulled. It can focus down to 1.6m/5.2ft, and features a maximum magnification ratio of 1:3.8. The optical design comprises of 21 elements in 15 groups with four SLD (Special Low Dispersion) elements and a hypersonic motor with an updated algorithm. Pricing will be announced at a later date.
