Google plans to close down Google Compare on March 23

Google is shutting down the company`s comparison service, Google Compare. The platform made it possible compare a wide variety of financial products, be it credit cards, insurance or even mortgages. The service will cease to exist on March 23, as noted in a letter sent out to partners. Google Compare was available in both the UK and U.S., but unfortunately it hasn`t enjoyed the levels of success to warrant further development and expansion. It was stated in the letter that focus will be redirected to AdWords, as well as `future innovations.` You`ll be able to continue using Google Compare, which launched in 2015, until it`s finally axed next month.
